A Quick Little Last Minute Special for the Holidays!

Yes folks the Holidays are right around the corner and if you haven't gotten your family Christmas portraits booked, you are running out of time. Over the next couple of weeks I will be running a last minute special. $ 200.00 will get you a 1 hr photo session - online proofing to share with family and friends and all your images on a dvd with a print release. These sessions will be on location sessions and you can pick the location (with-in reason -mileage may have to be discussed for longer trips over 40 miles one way) Please let me know if you are interested, limited sessions available - weekends only!

Quintana Beach on Veterans Day

So today it was just going to be just me and Addison --- Hubby is at work, kids are in school... what to do, what to do....
We headed out to Quintana Beach with our new puppy Shelby. Shelby is a 12 week old Mastiff. Such a sweet girl.



Such a beautiful peaceful day.



Addison is ROCKIN' those boots. Couldn't get her out of the house without them on this morning.

Veterans Day 2010

I took some time out tho think about my Dad who served 22 years in the United States Navy. He passed 12 years ago. These are some pictures from his younger years in the military.

When I think of this day, I think of freedom. I think of the people who gave so much for us to gain it, keep it, and honor it.

My Attempt To Make Cake Balls!

So I love to look at other people's BLOGS. One that I follow is Bakerella I love to look at all of the creative cake balls she makes. So tonight I got a wild hair and decided to attempt to make some of these "cake balls" Now about 3 weeks ago I had a few from a local bakery in Pearland TX called The Cakelicious Bakery and they were Yummy!
Sooo here we go... I can do this right?



Cake Balls actually look pretty decent --- Yeah I can do this ... it's a breeze



Hold up --- wait a minute... Why don't mine look anything like the ones I ate 3 weeks ago? Why isn't my cake ball smooth and pretty? This is a big gloppy mess!



UGH! I'm not impressed with the way these turned out!



I had to cover them in crushed cookies and candy just to make them look a little better. - lol HOPELESS




OK so I guess I'll stick to taking pictures and let the bakers do their job. This was too much work! :)
They did taste wonderful though. If you happen to know what I might need to do to make them pretty, let me know :)

Summer time .... Family time

This summer I took some time off from blogging this summer and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. We had so much fun over the summer taking trips and going to see our favorite team play baseball. GO CUBS!

Baby "B" turns ONE!

I can't believe little baby "B" is already going to be one. She has grown so fast. Awww I love seeing these little ones grow up. I still remember taking her newborn pictures.
